What is tourney ball?
Tourney ball is a term that describes paintball played on a small field that has air-filled bunkers set up in identical positions on both sides of the field. Many tourney ball fields have seating and netting which allow spectators to view the action on the field. Tourney ball and its variations, “hyperball” and “speedball”, are generally found in urban areas. Sometimes tourney ball is portrayed as the “cool” kind of paintball. Don’t get sucked into this myth. You can become an “advanced” player playing Woodsballâ„¢, and you may find that Woodsballâ„¢ is more fun and rewarding.
