Why does your Multi Nutrient Formula omit potassium, iodine, vitamin K and some other ingredients that are sometimes in other multis?
Jean Carper designed the Multi Nutrient Formula to supply what she found necessary for herself, family, friends and most adults, as determined by current research. She did not pad it, as some companies do, with a long list of insignificant doses of nutrients, hoping that would persuade you to buy it. For example, it would be seem needless to include a negligible 10 mg of potassium when you get 400 mg from eating a banana. Nor is there evidence that Americans need iodine in a supplement. Some people are allergic to it. Vitamin K may interact with blood thinners, such as coumadin, which is a common drug among older people. Vitamin K is plentiful in leafy greens.
