Who uses Forensic Locksmiths?
Insurances companies will often employ the services of the Forensic Locksmith to examine a vehicle/premises to determine if there is factual evidence to support other findings of inconsistency during an insurance claim. Solicitors employ Forensic Locksmiths on behalf of a person denied their insurance claim to evaluate the evidence gathered by the insurance company. A Forensic Locksmith may also be employed as an Expert Witness to comment on the evidence presented to a court. It should be noted that a Forensic Locksmith is bound by the “Expert Witness Code of Conduct and is employed only as a tool to reveal factual evidence to help in the overall determination of an investigation.
