A. MediSoft Version 7 includes all new HIPAA compliant features. The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) affects many phases of patient/provider interaction including privacy and security. Final requirements have not been worked out yet and Medisoft will be implementing them as they become available. Please visit our HIPAA compliance page for more information.
