Who picks the music for the club?
Our music is supplied to us from different sources. It’s obtained on compilation CDs from a music distributor and more recently through the pay-to-download music sites. The management, dance instructors and DJ review the music, using such criteria as dance-ability, energy and chart movement,. While there is unarguably some very good country music out, much of the listening music does not make the grade. In the case of complete CDs that are sent to us, the released hits are reviewed first and then samples of other cuts are listened to using the same above criteria. Then the selected music is added to our play list.
