Is Barbizon modeling a scam?
They are mainly a school, not an agency. And attending classes will do nothing to increase your chances to model. Do you think Gemma Ward, Kate Moss, etc went to modeling school? Either you have potential or you don’t. If an agency wants you, they will work with you to make sure you are your best – and won’t charge you a thing. They make their money off booking you on jobs and taking a % of your earnings If you want to take classes in public speaking, makeup application, etc then a school is fine. Another thing, most of the big agencies don’t like girls who have gone to schools because they are not natural and are too posed. At open calls, we could always tell which girls had gone to schools because they all had the same walks and poses – which looked more beauty pageant than fashion model.
