What is the best 4×4 vehicle or both on and off road?
I would have to go for a Porsche Cayenne. Clean looks, adjustable height above the road, great handling wherever you go. Not that I can afford one… well, I could but I happen to have a deep religious conviction about eating 3 meals a day. It comes from a good line of similar vehicles, the Touareg from VW and Audi’s 6-seater. The adjustable sway bars that keep the Porsche feel on the highway, especially lowered with the air height adjustment, and then switch to wider wheel travel range when in low off-road mode, with more ground clearance. I’m sure that isn’t importaint to others looking at 4-WDs, but for me, the road, and love of the car are all rolled up in the Cayenne.
