What are the JAA requirements?
The Joint Aviation Requirements (JAR) are a series of regulations covering aviation that have been implemented by the European states of the Joint Aviation Authorities (JAA). These replace national regulations with one standard set of participating European countries. The simplifies aircraft operations, training and licensing and makes it easier to transfer through the system.
