What is a headshot?
Headshots are 8×10 portraits used in the performing arts world and advertising industry for talent auditioning and promotion. Typically containing only the head, shoulders and hands, your headshot should capture your unique look or style, and accompany a resume. Headshots should be repeated once every year or two, or anytime you have a major change to your appearance. It is important that your headshot reflects what you look like right now, because casting agents rely heavily on them for their work. To see samples of headshots, click here.
