Whats a detail, or DETAILING?
Detailing, is the process of thoroughly cleaning the car, both inside and out, and also in places that would normally not get touched, like the insides of alloys, tyres, inner wheel arches and even spare wheel and compartment. This also includes spending around 8 hours machine polishing the paint, with the best compounding polish and pads to remove any imperfections, and basically making the car as good, if not better than the day it rolled off the production line. Q. What is claying (clay bar)? A. Claying is the term used to describe the process of using a clay bar on your paintwork. Have you ever washed your car, then gently run your fingers across the paintwork? If it feels rough, maybe even like a fine sandpaper and not smooth glass, well, these are bonded contaminents. Washing your car removes fresh contaminants such as acid rain, car pollutants, and general road grime.
