What is EXIM?

0

On our e-mail server, we use a Mail Transfer Protocol program called EXIM (http://www.exim.org) to route e-mail to local and external recipients, together with EXISCAN (http://duncanthrax.net/exiscan), which enables the virus scanning and spam detection extensions. EXIM filters can be created for individual users with special EXIM commands to handle incoming e-mail. This ‘E-Mail Filter Service’ is for automatically creating EXIM filters for individual user accounts. The need for creating EXIM filters is therfore removed. However, experts with a knowledge of EXIM can still create their own filters by following the instructions on the Custom Filters page from the help menu.
