What is the 2008 World Factbook?
The 2008 World Factbook is a fine publication compiled by the CIA (Central Intelligence Agency of the United States). It includes detailed information about almost every country on the planet compiled in a book format published annually. An online version is maintained at https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/ and updated more frequently. The World Factbook is in the public domain and may be used freely by anyone at anytime without seeking permission. However, please note that World Wiki Plus is in no way associated with the CIA. It simply makes the same information available in an easy to use format on the iPhone or iPod touch, as requested by many World Wiki users.
