Why don people read comics?
Yeah, I don’t get it either. People want to watch Batman movies but not read any of the batbooks? Makes no sense to me. And anyone who says it’s more realistic as a movie or on TV is just kidding themselves and obviously doesn’t read comics. Batman looked painfully out of place in some scenes of The Dark Knight when he works just fine in any of the DC books. People who don’t read comics or graphic novels have misconceptions about them that are based on generalizations and the geekening by pop culture of the format. But since the Watchmen trailer came out, I know people that would’ve never picked up a comic change their minds when they read the GN.
