Holy Evil started the site and made the initial comics. Eddie Havoc initially provided one-off stories that were intended to explain the background of Arsenic and Home Base. After Holy Evil got too lazy to update the site, Eddie Havoc stepped in to take over the regular series. Holy Evil now occasionally returns to do one-offs and storyarcs. Comic/Storyline Questions Q: What is “Home Base?” A: An evil terrorist/criminal organization bent on world domination (somewhat inspired by SPECTRE, Cobra Command, ACROSS from The Excel Saga, the Illuminati group on Metalocalypse, etc). It has secretly infiltrated many institutions of power around the world as a means to set the stage for its eventual takeover. Q: Why are the people in Home Base named after elements? A: Arsenic was originally created in 2001, and was just named that because it sounded cool. In 2005, Holy Evil created Selenium, a companion character who was sent by “home base” to assist Arsenic.
