If I study MEng Structural Engineering and Architecture HK21 will I have to do all 3 RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) exams?
The course provides sufficient architecture content to meet the Part I requirements to become a registered Architect. The RIBA treats our Structural Engineering and Architecture graduates exactly the same as it does graduates with a BA in Architecture. All these graduates usually study an additional programme of advanced undergraduate study (or equivalent) and gain a minimum of two years professional experience in an architect’s office. This is followed by the RIBA Part 3 Examination in Professional Practice and Management. Further details on how to become a registered architect can be found on RIBA’s webpages: http://www.careersinarchitecture.
