How do I ship a wedding dress?
Go to the Post Office and buy a large shipping box. UPS mailing store also sells boxes. Or if anyone has a large size cardboard box in your family you can ship it in that. The size would be 24 wide by 24 long 24 inches deep. I am an ebay seller so I am familiar with shipping items. Then wrap the gown in a plastic cover of some sort and fold it carefully and place it in the box. Then fill in with lots of tissue which you can buy in the Dollar Stores all over U.S. Then I would mail it Priority Mail which would get to the buyer in three days. If they want cheaper shipping, then first class mail but make sure you insure it for the amount the buyer paid for it and also pay the extra $.60 cents for tracking and confirmation.
