Where is there a good beach?
Beaches each have their own personality, and everyone likes different ones. Here is a quick overview, but checkout the Links page for more information on Beaches. The nearest is Ocean Beach, but this one can be a little edgy for some people. One of the best family beaches is Coronado, which is also the most accessible beach if you do not have a car. The other closest beach is Mission Beach which tends to have a younger, more rowdy crowd, but good for those that are looking for that. Pacific Beach is probably the beach with the best nightlife and usually has a good blend of action and family activities.
