Bansko is fast becoming a key European ski holiday resort, and access to the region is getting easier every year. Easy Jet, British Airways and Air Bulgaria operate direct flights from London to Sofia. Wizz Air is another low-cost airline to discover the region. And Malev Hungarian Airlines can now offer flights from Heathrow to Sofia, via Budapest. Sofia is about 160km from Bansko, so youll need to hire a car or a taxi. A taxi taking 4 people to Bansko will cost around 80-100 Euros one way.
