The National Standard Race (NASTAR) is the largest public recreational grassroots ski race program in the world and was first developed in 1968. You compete against a set handicap that is based on your age and gender The club tries to have a non-competitive NASTAR race on every trip. This is a fun only race for only those on the trip. We place everyone into a club race category so you are competing against people of your ability. The club race rules spell out all the details.
