• DSTP stands for Delaware Student Testing Program. It is given to all public and charter school students in the state of Delaware • DSTP is divided into three categories: • Grades 2-10: This test is an indicator of how your child is progressing toward the state standards. It is used to help teachers make instructional decisions to support student needs and to help students meet and exceed the state standards. Students are tested in reading and mathematics. • Grades 5, 8, and 10: Students are tested in writing. • Grades 4, 6, 8 and 11: Students are tested in science and social studies. These test results are included in school accountability ratings.
