How much wallpaper do I need?
A standard roll of wallpaper is 20.5 inches in width and just under 33ft in length. You would normally get three drops with a bit left over from each roll; however, if your walls are 7.5 ft high and there isn’t a lot of wastage with a big pattern, and you cut the drops so there is just a couple of inches excess to be trimmed as you hang it – then you could get four full drops from each roll. If the walls are straight forward you need 7 drops on each wall. 14 for both. That is 5 rolls if you can get 3 drops per roll or 4 rolls if you can get 4 drops per roll. I would allow an extra roll for mistakes. Make sure all rolls have the same batch (shade) number on them.
