How will W&M faculty participate in the myNotebook program?
W&M faculty have been involved in the project since its inception; serving both on the committee that wrote the white paper and on the project steering committee. Additionally, the Provost provided funds for faculty grants to develop courses, which will use the capabilities of notebook computers to enhance teaching and learning. Each grant included a stipend and a notebook computer of the same model recommended to incoming students. IT departmental liaisons regularly work with faculty to integrate teaching, learning and technology and the myNotebook program brings increased integration opportunities.
