How do I repair my TV?
You have lost the Vertical Deflection signal to your screen. It is not as simple of just soldering. You have a failed component in that circuit. If it is a CRT type TV, you may have some bad Electolytic capacitors or a defective Vertical Amplifier IC. Unless you find a cold solder joint around these components, then yes, maybe only soldering will take care of the problem. You need to determine if that is the case. If you have no experience in repairing a TV, it is best you have a professional do it for you. High Voltages exists in these circuits which can harm you.
