No it will not…It is still an internal combustion engine and moving the same amount of air through it as it would on gasoline. Speed or acceleration performance may be affected but not sound. Propane burns slower than gasoline so it needs a different camshaft timing as well as a different ignition timing curve to get the same performance as on gasoline, but it will sound the same…
