It’s a small cracker, The machine and cracker was designed to solved the sanitary problems of hand-rolling crackers. Some say it was called the oyster cracker because it was mainly used in oyster stew. Some say because the small cracker can be divided in half resembled an oyster. But no one knows for sure why it was named the oyster cracker because the man who invented it died a year later. Note: there is no oysters in the cracker.
