Your bedroom is a beautiful 19 foot round space with supper and breakfast served in the little log cabin where the owners reside. Virtual Tour Our Yurt is located in the Gatineau Hills of Quebec beside a small ten acre private pond. This little paradise includes meals in a tiny 600 square foot log cabin where the owners live, situated 30′ from the yurt.. This homestead is entirely off the grid and has an unique variety of systems that Dwight and Lucy have devised from drinking water to showers, cooking, lighting and heating. The yurt is set a few feet off the ground, 50 feet from the lake with an entrance deck. It has a very nice outhouse nearby which separates the yurt from the cabin.
