What do upsidedown catfish eat?
Anything floating at the surface is fair game. Mine loved the meaty flakes (red) as well as frozen bloodworms, as long as they stayed above his mouth. Sometimes, they swim “normally” along the gravel and pick up food there, but that’s generally when they aren’t satisfied with the food at the surface. Also, if they get large enough, the Catfish will eat VERY small crickets or flies if you set them on the surface.
