How do Seventh-Day Adventists conduct their baptisms?

0

Adventists will conduct a baptism in much the same way as traditional baptism, but Adventists make sure that the person being baptized is completely submerged in the water. Being completely submerged is symbolic of being reborn and completely filled with the new life of God and Jesus within the person being baptized.

Before the baptism, most Adventist churches will have the person take classes to fully understand the spiritual meaning of the baptism and  what it means under the Seventh-Day Adventist faith.

When a person chooses to accept Jesus Christ as their personal savior, then they undergo several classes to learn more about the seventh day adventist religion. Then they make a vow to themselves and God. Then they are baptized through immersion.
