Yes!!! Chinese people do eat chinese food!!! How come they don’t eat? Chinese food is so different from all the other cuisines and it is hard to replace it with anything else!

If by calligraphy, you mean writing with a brush, then calligraphy is only used as an art form. But if you mean writing Chinese characters with a normal pen or pencil, then yes, Chinese still write with Chinese characters every day. You can compare it to manuscript. Westerners don’t use the manuscript style for their daily writing nowadays.
