No, they are two very different products. Borax can kill if ingested, especially if it’s by a child because it has been found to contain arsenic. Borax = Na2B407-10H2O. Boric Acid= H3BO3. Truthfully, getting rid of fleas & their eggs is a very difficult job. Call Terminix or Orkin & for a reasonable price, they will get rid of the fleas & their eggs very effectively. There will be no strong lingering odors when all is said & done. They will spray your entire home & outside as well.
