Sobekneferu, Twosret, Nitocris, and arguably Merneith and possibly even Nefertiti were pharaohs as well. As for Hatshepsut’s body, she was found in the early 20th century, but locked away in the Cairo Museum and forgotten. A couple of years back, they proved Hatshepsut’s mummy to indeed be hers by way of a missing tooth. However, her jaw and face was not smashed in, thus the posters who are claiming it to be Hatshepsut are incorrect here. Three, the queen you are referring to is unknown. It was the Egyptologist Joanna Fletcher who claimed it to be Nefertiti, who was the stepmother of Tutankhamun, not the grandmother. Egyptian authorities do not consider it official that it was Nefertiti, but who knows as DNA testing has not been
