You mean BERNESE Mountain Dogs. They are medium-large sturdy solidly built longhaired working dogs,bred to pull carts, wagons, etc. Bernese Mountain Dogs are commonly attractively "tricolored" with a coat that is black over most of the body, with reddish tan markings on the legs, the lower portion of the muzzle, the cheeks, and eyebrows (similar to the common pattern of black and red/tan seen in Doberman Pinschers, Rottweilers, and tricolor collies and shelties.) Like collies and shelties, the Bernese Mountain dog also has white markings although the Bernese Mountain Dog’s white markings on the neck tend to be on the front of the dog from chin to chest, rather than encircling the neck completely in a white "collar."
