Contrary to popular belief slot machines are not “rigged”, nor are they tightened or loosened at the drop of a hat. Slot machines have a preset payout percentage. A slot machine with a 97% pay-back percentage will pay out 97%, that does not mean that if you play $100. you will get back $97. When someone sees a machine with a high pay back percentage they automatically assume that it will pay them that percentage. That is not how it works. Hence the assumption that slot machines are “rigged”.
