Whats life like in Norway?
It is an incredibly beautiful country. The fjords, especially on the western coast are really amazing. I love Oslo, it’s a very international city and the people are really nice here. When you get outside of Oslo people aren’t as warm. They don’t mean to be rude, they just aren’t that welcoming to strangers. It kind of has to do with “Janteloven” which is kind of the way society operates here. Norwegians value equality and fairness above all else, which is a good thing, but that’s where those societal rules sprung from. Even in the smaller towns, Norwegians tend to be helpful and polite, they just aren’t as likely to wave or start a conversation with you. I can’t really answer if Norway is fun, because it depends on your definition. If you enjoy nature, hiking, swimming, skiing, ect, then Norway is incredibly fun. There is an active nightlife, but not like in the US. The price of alcohol is insane here, it’s about $10 for a beer and $20 for a mixed drink. In Oslo there are many great p
