Sure I wash plastics silverware. ( Plastic SILVER ware? Sure I eat off the plastic china with it. While drinkin out of a plastic glass.) I don’t make a special effort to do it, and I rarely handwash it, but I more often put them in the dishwasher than the recycling bin, after a few times they get unusable and they get tossed. I got a fistful of forks spoons knives etc in the drawer. But, mind you, this does not mean you are not crazy. I personally think your out of your gourd. But then I am totally insane, I mean I wash plastic silverware.

Maybe if it’s dishwasher safe melamine utensils but not just plastic. They could melt or get thrown about because they don’t weigh enough and if there is an element at the bottom, they could stick and melt right into it. It’s seems safer to throw them out and use more plastic. They are very inexpensive. And I wouldn’t trust plastic with all it’s little nicks and things to get clean every time.
