What is Excavating?
Excavating literally means “dig” and refers to the process of altering the ground and soil. Usually the term excavating implies the use of heavy machinery but it also involves hand labor. Many tasks typically associated with excavating include: swimming pools, footers, foundations, basements, demolition, trenches, and grading. Excavation work is often the first step in the building process of any job site.
