What is the best brand of sewing machine?
Define “more”. For me, “more” means a machine that is utterly reliable and has the functions I need. Because I sew clothing, the things I need are straight stitch, zigzag, buttonholes, blindhem, and the occasional stretch stitch. But I want my machine to perform those functions flawlessly and reliably for years. My Viking does just that, and I don’t often use most of the 30 stitches my machine can do. Nearly 15 years of reliable service so far. The machine previous to that I made the mistake of buying a lot of stitches per dollar spent. That one was sewn to unrepairability within a couple of years. Yes, it had 100+ stitches, but most of them were unused, and I spent so much time trying to keep the machine functioning that sewing wasn’t fun or productive. So — define “more”, and maybe we can make better suggestions. By my definition, you’ve probably got a very good machine.
