How long will the cakes remain fresh?
Our cakes will last up to six months without refrigeration, sealed in its box. Each cake has a freshness date stamped on the back of 6 months from the day it was baked. Our gourmet rum cakes have the natural preservative, rum, in them. We vacuum seal them in a thick plastic wrap to prevent drying or ruin. They are then put inside our keepsake air-tight tins and shrink-wrapped again to prevent any air getting in. So when you open your cake it is fresh, moist, and as delicious as the day it was baked.
