What is the challenge? International mission agencies now number in the hundreds. More missionaries are working in more countries than ever before. All types of evangelistic Christians are bombarding scores of countries with workers, Bibles, religious literature, gospel broadcasts and relief aid. All of this is reason for rejoicing. But is the world – the whole world – really being evangelized? No, not the whole world. Researchers have identified as many as 24,000 ethnolinguistic people groups among the world’s 5 billion people.
