Did John Mccain kill any Vietnamese?
No, he should not be charged with war crimes. John McCain was doing his duty as a soldier. Even if he knew that his targets were civilians (highly unlikely from a bomber) like Calley did, it would be impossible to prove that he had such knowledge. The hypothesis of your question presumes that any soldier who kills is guilty of war crimes, which is not a violation, in and of itself, of a war crime. If such a question were also asked about John Kerry, for instance, despite his later misgivings, you can see that this is simply swift-boating in reverse.
Much like his Presidential political career, I hope he gets shot down before he can cause any more damage. But to answer your question, if he did kill vietnamese and 3 million were killed during that war along with 50,000 brave Americans, he should not be charged with war crimes and he wouldn’t be.
