The oldest form of title is taken via a Deed of Conveyance (or Deed of Encumbrance), which originates from the Ecuadorian colonial days. Presently all lands in the Manta area, are not titled via Conveyance anymore. Ownership by Conveyance was converted to a Deed of Title, as the city develop in last century.
