Does Borax effectively kill roaches?

0

Borax alone will not fix a roach problem. It just doesn’t have enough “umph”. It doesn’t kill them fast enough and outside it won’t last very long. I’m sure the ingredient you’re thinking of is boric acid. Unfortunately, borax is not the right kind of boric acid. If you want to try the right kind, just be aware that it is a plant retardant, and can actually kill your plants. The correct active ingredient is: disodium octoborate tetrahydrate It should be 98% (2% absorbed water). FOLLOW THE LABEL INSTRUCTIONS! More is not always better… and it could be against the law.
