How brave our Malaysian soldiers are?
It is not a question of how brave Malaysian soldiers are. Any soldier that is about to go into harm’s way & says that he is not scared is either a liar, crazy or both. Our soldiers will go if they are ordered to. Simple as that. Since it is most probably a maritime operation, the Royal Malaysian Navy PASKAL commandoes will be sent. For a rescue operation to be sucessful, it will depend on a lot of things eg: the element of surprise, the quality of the foes, weather conditions & many more….not to discount Murphy’s Law – what can go wrong will go wrong no matter how well planned the operation is. ————- I hope certain Yammers would at least show some respect to our men & women in uniform. These people are putting their lives on the line day in day out to ensure we sleep peacefully every night – they watch & patrol our borders, airspace & seas, they train all the time & etc. Also, please do not confuse the Armed Forces with the Police.
