What is a buried stitch?

A buried stitch is actual a connector form one letter to another. This type of stitch will hide the ugly cross over stitches from one letter to another. This works great on pique fabric and each letter will look like it has been trimmed. The buried stitch is more noticable on smooth fabrics such as cotton twill or denium. Always keep you lettering close together so to avoid cross overs between lettering. I like to add trims when the lettering is over 2 mm apart.
