• You are not eligible for enlistment to the Defence Forces if you are under 17 years of age on the date of application. • The upper age limit for enlistment in the Army /Air Corps is 25 years of age on the date of enlistment. • The upper age limit for enlistment in the Naval Service is under 27 years of age on the date of enlistment. A person under the age of 18 years (other than a person who has been married) must have the written consent of a parent, guardian or other person in loco parentis to him/her. The form for consent is available from the Brigade Manpower Office.

Skeena Valley Expeditions’ travelers have ranged in age from 7 to 72 years old. The most important “skill” you can possess is the desire to have Fun!! There are, however, some minimum requirements: • All participants under the age of 19 must have a parent or guardian present at the time of booking to co-sign our liability waiver • On family float trips, participants must be 6 years of age or older • On whitewater trips participants must be 13 years of age or older AND weigh at least 90 pounds • On whitewater trips, participants under the age of 16 must be acompanied by a parent or guardian.

There is no age limit for candidates. Students will enter at the level of study the teacher considers appropriate. There is an Anglia Placement Test to help determine which level of examination is most appropriate. (See the Introduction section for the answer sheet.
