Do malaysian trumpets eat fish eggs?

Yes it’s possible for them to eat eggs, but it could also be that your fish ate their own eggs. The Malaysian Trumpets mostly feed on algae but they do not eat fish waste “poo”, matter of fact there’s not a fish or aquatic thing that will eat fish waste. Only the beneficial bacteria that lives in filters and under the gravel just breaks the waste down into a harmless substance but the best way to keep the fish waste down is to vacuum the gravel every two weeks with a gravel vacuum and change 25% of the water weekly. Something interesting to know is that the trumpets give live birth rather than lay eggs. Take a look at this link i find it very useful: http://www.planetinverts.com/malaysian_t… Take Care.
