What happens in each phase?
In Phase I, an environmental and engineering assessment is executed to evaluate conceptual design alternatives, and to assess their environmental impacts. Additionally, a public meeting is held by INDOT to communicate project information to the public. In Phase II, INDOT selected a Corridor Program Management Consultant (CPMC) that will be responsible for preliminary designs and coordinating all components of final design. In this phase, the public had the opportunity to provide project input through the community representatives on the Community Advisory Group (CAG), and through contacting the public outreach office. In Phase III, , the CPMC and other engineering professionals will complete the final details and construction documents necessary to advance the project to the construction phase.
