Employment must be in a field related to a program approved for the NETS Program. approved NETS Program content areas (1.1 MB PDF).–> To view a complete list of the 2009-10 approved NETS Program content areas, please see the NETS Program brochure (168 KB PDF). Education majors: While teaching is an approved field of employment, the major must be in the secondary field, not education. For example, a Chemistry teacher must major in Chemistry, not Education.
