What happens to a Word-bound whose Word is in decline?
The decline of a Word almost certainly leads to the decline of the Word-bound (as seen in Night Music, with the Old Guy). What once supported the celestial now becomes a drain as the being’s essential energies go to support the Word rather than the other way around. This even applies to Archangels and Demon Princes! Normally the “cost” of such status is supplied automatically by the Word, but when the Word fails . . . The exact details of what happens to a weakened Superior are up to the GM.
