do one of a couple of things. Call a wildlife removal expert–a “Critter Catcher.” He’ll get up there and set a humane trap, and remove the squirrel. Of course, you can also invest the 30 to 40 bucks for a small-animal-sized trap yourself (it’ll be less than the guy), get up there, and do it yourself. You bait the trap with sunflower seeds stuck to bread with peanut butter on it, make sure the trap is set ABSOLUTELY LEVEL, and leave it. Check it twice a day, and when you nab the little bandito, you can release him several miles away, where he’ll plague someone else. I would do this for at least a week after your last capture–because you may have more than one. They might be working shifts on you! Of course, this will be all for nothing if you don’t SEAL the attic securely so other squirrels don’t get in. Figure out those access points, and lock ’em up.
